Solar Eclipse Glasses
Certified paper-frame eclipse glasses for direct viewing of the sun (EclipsePro Paper Series).
DO NOT use with optical instruments such as telescopes, binoculars or camera viewfinders. They concentrate solar rays, burn through the filter and cause instant, permanent eye injury.
1Intended Use
Designed exclusively for direct viewing of the sun, including solar eclipses. Protects against harmful ultraviolet (UV), visible and infrared (IR) radiation.
Do NOT use with telescopes, binoculars, camera viewfinders or any magnifying device.
2Mandatory Inspection
Before every use you MUST inspect the product. If ANY damage is found, discard the glasses immediately — a damaged filter offers no protection.
- 1Inspect the filters for scratches, pinholes, tears or damage.
- 2Check the frame for bends or damage that could let light in.
- 3Ensure both filters are securely attached.
3How to Use
- 1Put the glasses on before looking at the sun.
- 2Keep them on the entire time you are looking at or near the sun.
- 3Turn your head completely away from the sun before removing them.
- 4Take frequent breaks — do not view continuously for more than 3 minutes.
4Safety Warnings
- •NEVER look at the sun without certified protection — permanent eye damage can occur instantly.
- •NEVER use damaged glasses — even tiny scratches can cause serious injury.
- •NEVER use with cameras, telescopes, binoculars or any optical equipment.
- •ALWAYS supervise children (ages 3–14). Not a toy. Not suitable for children under 3 (choking hazard).
