1Intended Use

Oversized fit-over solar eyewear worn over prescription glasses, for direct visual observation of the sun including eclipses, transits and sunspots.

Protects ONLY for direct eye-to-sun observation. Do NOT use with binoculars, telescopes or camera lenses. Do NOT wear over sunglasses or tinted eyewear.

2Mandatory Inspection

Before every use, inspect the filter lenses and frame. If ANY damage is found, discard the glasses immediately.

3How to Use
  1. 1Put on your prescription glasses first and make sure they are clean and properly positioned.
  2. 2Place the fit-over solar glasses over your prescription eyewear from the front and press gently until stable.
  3. 3Confirm the frame sits with no gaps at the sides or top, and both filters fully cover both prescription lenses.
  4. 4Only after confirming full coverage, look toward the sun.
  5. 5Turn completely away from the sun before lifting or removing the fit-over glasses.
4Safety Warnings
  • NEVER look at the sun unless both filters fully cover your eyes.
  • NEVER use with binoculars, telescopes or camera lenses — they concentrate solar rays and cause instant eye injury.
  • Do NOT wear over sunglasses or tinted eyewear.
  • ALWAYS supervise children (ages 3–14). Not a toy; not for children under 3.
5Lifespan & Care

Recommended lifespan: 3 years from the Date of Manufacture; discard immediately if damaged, regardless of age.

Store in a protective case. Clean the filter lenses with a soft, dry, non-abrasive cloth only — never use liquids.

6Product Specification

Polymer filters (EN ISO 12312-2:2015, PPE Category II) with optical density greater than 5.0, housed in a durable polypropylene (PP) oversized fit-over frame.

7Markings & Manufacturer

CE marking indicates conformity with EU Regulation 2016/425. EN ISO 12312-2:2015 certifies the filter for direct observation of the sun. EU type-examination (PPE Category II) performed by Notified Body 0068, MTIC Intercert S.r.l., Milan, Italy.
